敦煌鸣沙山 "Ming Sha Shan Desert" in Dun Huang,从兰州撘夜班火车到敦煌，须约12小时！一个车厢有四张床，刚好是休息的时间。省时，省钱，有可以“赶路”。

敦煌“汉长城” The "Han Great Wall"...只剩下这块石头！
敦煌“雅丹”号称魔鬼城。。。The "Ya-Dan" Geological desert, Dun Huang。来到这里，可以感觉到风沙滚滚，风不停的往我身上打来，冷又爽的感觉实在好喜悦。这是一望无际的大沙漠呀！
敦煌“阳关” "The old day "Yang Pass" where the people exit China from the West....古人出关都经过此“关口”。听说唐僧西去取经也路过此！

吐鲁番 "TuLuFan" a remote area in the desert，据说是中国的麦加。无法到麦加朝圣的穆斯林会到此朝圣！
The old city...交河古城，是中国早期佛教从西北进入中国的黄金时期！现在已经回化！
The history of the underground water systems which runs for 5,000km and supplies 30% of the water to the city 坎儿井是吐鲁番的特色！

5/Apr – fly from KL to ChengDu via Air Asia X, upon arrival in ChengDu around 6pm, keep the luggage at the airport luggage counter, goto buy train tickets from Xian to Lanzhou and from Lanzhou to DunHuang, take a cab to city and check into hotel, goto JinLi for the night market scrolling
隆KLIA LCCT飞成都，十二天中国丝绸之路背包旅行出发。这也是第一次背包旅行，除了我和撘档找了好多资料和联络，下订交通（van,中国国内飞机票）和旅馆下了不少工夫，也学会如何订中国国内交通和旅馆。中国国内的机票价格类似亚航的优惠制，我们也订了打五折以上的机票！另外二位是随行吧！但好处是可以订一个火车车厢共人的床位，不必和他人同房！
6/Apr – fly from ChengDu to Xian via China Eastern Airlines, upon arrival around noon, take a cab to hotel, check in and go for a walk around Xian to view the scenery of the “old city”
成都飞西安，游西安古城。
7/Apr – morning, take a bus to visit the “Terracotta“ and the “ShiHuangTi Tomb”, return to Xian around 4pm and visit the “Xian City Wall”, take a bicycle ride on the wall, go for one round 17km for about 1.5hours. Late evening, goto Xian train station to goto Lanzhou on softbed coach.
早上去西安兵马俑游玩，乘巴士去。下午游西安城墙，在墙上踏脚车，四周约长17公里，1.5小时。晚上坐夜班火车从西安去兰州。四人一间四床间。
8/Apr – arrived at Lanzhou in the morning after 8 hours train ride, keep the luggage at the luggage counter, go for 1 day city tour by cab, we goto Zhong Shan Bridge, “The mother of HuangHe”, take a cable car to “BaiDaShan”. Afternoon, goto train station and take train to DunHuang on softbed coach.
早上抵达兰州，寄行旅，兰州一日游。中山桥，黄河的母亲，白塔山。晚上，坐夜班火车从兰州去敦煌。四人一间四床间。
9/Apr – Arrived in Dunhuang after 14 hours train ride, check into hotel. Buy a 2 days package for visit. Goto “mogaoku – the famous buddhist arts in the caves” ,the tour takes around 1.5 hours. According to the guide, there are 492 caves with paintings and statues. For each tour, the tourist will visit 10 caves. In the caves, there are four giant Buddhas, we tour two of them, one of them is 35m and the other one is 26m. In the caves, there are two declining Buddhas and we visit one of them. Then goto “MingShaShan desert” and “Yue Ya Qian” by riding camel.
早上抵达敦煌，订来二日游的van，游莫高窟，著名的佛教圣地。根据导游，莫高窟有482个洞有佛像和画画，都是当时的佛教盛行的历史。每天，只开10个洞给游客观赏。里面有四尊超大的佛像，一尊35米，另一尊26米！我们有机缘观赏二尊。也去鸣沙山，是个大沙漠和月牙泉。
10/Apr – after breakfast, we go on a 2 full day tour, first arriving at the “Yang Pass” where this old pass is one of the gate to the West in the old days (more than one thousand years ago). Visit the “Han Great Wall” along the way to “YaDan – a famous “ghost town” due to strong wind blowing and carrying the sands generated the sounds, you will feel that the sands is hitting you. After YaDan， we goto “Yue Meng Pass”, another old pass to the West. Both passes are travelled by the “Xuan Chuang Monk” to the West to bring back the buddhist scriptures to the China more than thousand years ago. Both passes are the main passes to the West where the traders bring silk and other produces from China to the West.
早餐后，去“阳关”，是古代往西出国的关口。去“汉长城”和“雅丹”魔鬼城，是个风沙很强的大沙漠。也去岳明关，是玄奘西游的关口。玄奘西游把佛经带会中国，因此佛教传布中国。
11/Apr – After breakfast, we goto ShaZhou market and buy some local produces. Dry grapes and nuts are famous here. Almost every household plant grapes from Apr to Oct each year. Around noon, we goto DunHuang airport and fly to Urumqi, the capital of XinJiang via Southern China Airlines. Arrived Urumqi in the evening, pick up by van driver, check into hotel, go for city scrolling and visit the night market. XinJiang has more than 30 millions people and almost 99% are muslims and they consist of many minorities. Most of the restaurants are halal restaurants. You also can find non-halal restaurants operated by the Han.
早餐后，游沙州早市。中午，从敦煌乘飞机去乌鲁木齐。这是个99%回族的城市。回民有三千万！
12/Apr – After breakfast, we check out and goto TuLuFan, down south about 2.5 hours drive. Visit the old “GaoChang Ruin”，“TuyouGou – the Mecca of the Eastern” which exist more than one thousand years. According to the driver, there exist “Qian Fo Caves – caves with buddhist arts”, an old city where buddhism florish before. Check in hotel in TuLuFan.
早餐后，往南出发去吐鲁番。约2.5小时，抵达高昌古国遗地。吐峪沟-东方的麦加。拜访千佛洞。住吐鲁番。
13/Apr – Visit the “JiaoHe Ruin – an old city where buddhism was florish in the old days” , visit the “SuGong Ta” and the “Karze – an ancient method to get water from the underground”. According to the guide, the total length of the Karze is more than 5000km and now it supply around 30% of the water to the city. In the afternoon, we heading back to Urumqi. Arrived in Urumqi, visit the Grand Bazaar and go for shopping. Check into hotel at night.
游“交河”遗地，苏公塔。看“坎儿井”，地下水源系统，有4百年历史。目前为本市提供30%水源。下午回乌鲁木齐，游大市场。
14/Apr – Visit the morning market in front of the hotel. After breakfast, check out hotel and goto visit the XinJiang Museum. It is a great experiences to see so many minorities cultures and customs, we also have the opportunity to view the mummies in the museum. After lunch, goto airport to fly to ChengDu via Southern China Airlines. Arrived in ChengDu in the afternoon and check into hotel.
游新疆博物馆。午后，从乌鲁木齐飞成都。
15/Apr – go on 1 day tour to the Giant Buddha at LeShan and Ermei Shan – the “WenShu Bodhisattva”. After 2 hours van ride, we arrive at Leshan. The Giant Buddha height is 71m, the biggest Buddha Statue in the world. At noon, we go futher for 40 minutes to arrive at ErMei Shan – this mountain has 32 temples. We visit the main temple “Wan Nian Shi” and scrolling down the hills for 11 km. Along the way, we visit few more temples and many stores.
成都一日游，去乐山大佛和俄眉山。乐山大佛高71米，是世界上最大的佛像。俄眉山有32间庙。我们参访了万年寺，也一路行了11公里。
16/Apr – Check out, go for garden walk at “WuHouCi” and visit the stores around that area. Around 11am, goto to hotel, pack and goto airport, fly Air Asia X back to KL.
游“午后市花园”和shopping. 中午，从成都飞回吉隆坡。
